Abbey's Testimony After a healthy, normal, beautiful 14 month old little girl was knocked down to a newborn's capabilities - where did I turn? When feelings of anger, fear, & hoplessness consumed my whole being - where did I turn?
As a christian of minimal knowledge & faith, I turned to God. My biggest question of Him, was why did You let this happen?

Modern medicine, specifically an MMR (mumps, measles, ruebella) vaccine took my little Abbey's ability to walk, crawl, talk, & laugh away. All of her joy was replaced with shaking tremors, a hoarse whine, choking, & the inability to crawl or walk. Her nervous system was severely damaged. Intense hospital testing showed nothing was wrong - but the doctors would prescribe medications to stop the tremors. Abbey's Mom & Dad absolutely refused to medicate her. "It was medicine that hurt her, we won't hurt her anymore." Guilt that they were the ones to cause this disaster was now a new emotion to work with.

As Abbey's granma, I turn to God to blame Him for hurting the ones I love the most. Anger, fear, hopelessness, & guilt were all God's doing. How & why, could He let this happen? Why couldn't He have afflicted this on me? I've lived my life & would be more than happy to take Abbey's burden. God, why?

Wally has been a big part of my life for 8 1/2 years. He was always there when I needed help in my business matters. I knew he & Jan had recently committed themselves to God & His teachings. As in the past, I merely emailed them saying, Help!
Jan & Wally immediately responded with God's words - This was not God's doing & through strong faith & prayer, this little girl will be (not maybe) healed.

Their reassurrance, that she will be healed - was enough to keep me & all of my family believing that we will get our little princess back. I invited Jan & Wally to my home to meet Abbey & to help me & my family pray for her well being.

Wally & Jan, through their readings, taught us that when you pray- let your intentions be known - make it clear what you are asking for & immediately start giving thanks for an answered prayer. Believe that your prayer has been heard & has been answered. Say "Thank You."

Jan held a restless Abbey while Wally intensely prayed aloud - casting out the bad & evil and inviting the healing power of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The feeling in that room was one of calm, peace, love, & healing. You could physically feel the healing power.

Abbey's healing has come full circle. She's walking, running, jabbering, & doing all those incredible things that 2 1/2 year olds do. She was healed by the love & grace of God.
My entire family has been changed by Abbey's burden. Our faith is strong, we talk about our beliefs in God, & we share what we heard in church.

What Jan & Wally have taught me about their faith, the power of prayer, & how to apply God's teachings in everyday life has been a priceless treasure that will go with me for the rest of my life and beyond.
